St. Emilion

We celebrated the first warm day of spring last weekend with an outing to the lovely old wine town of
St. Emilion, which is about an hour by car from our home. For several years now it has been a World Heritage Site and once you're there you understand why! It is a picturebook part of France, located on a hillside with narrow little streets, climbing up through medieval houses and with lots of cafés, restaurants and wineshops (of course!). I will be posting a few more paintings of St.Emilion in the next days. Enjoy!
