Wow! So dramatic. My internet is
"sketchy" as the teenagers say -- meaning not working too well, so I'm glad to be here. This is a
hot, hot, hot painting. So
perfectly painted.
I'm greatly inspired by you.
I wish I could have shared your potage too. What was in the jar that looked creamy? The puzzle still haunts me.
Ciao,
Barbara
Hi Barbara, thank you for your comment. At the beginning this painting was quite itsy bitsy and I got all tense and frutrated - nearly threw the painting through the studio - which then I was luckily able to overcome and went at it again more loosly, so that in the end I wasn't too unhappy...
Hi Liza,
That's funny -- not too unhappy.
Here I am half a world away, just
delighted with the strength and
orginality of your image, and you
are letting yourself off the hook.
I'm not crazy about struggle, but I
have done lots of it too. It was worth it. You are just so good.
Take care,
Barbara
Barbara, I forgot to tell you what's in the glass - well, an elderly french lady gave it to me and I am not quite sure we will like it - it is goose gizzard in goose fat....
Doesn't sound too enticing , does it?! But I liked the promising look of it, hence the painting.
Hi Liza,
It sounds like something you'd use to make a gravy, or sauce. On the other
hand maybe goose fat is good for dry
skin. Very funny. But you're right, it does look intriguing.
Barbara
