Hi Liza,

It looks like an antique rose. We are
getting colder and colder weather here, and I keep expecting to find
my favorite garden flowers turned to mush.

A lovely painting with a touching mood. The rose on a bed of snow?

Very delicate and totally nontraditional rose. Glad you are keeping your eyes on more natural world. It's hard to keep connected with this in our tiny London apartment with the only green in sight being my few herbal pots on the windowsill ;)

Your work never ceases to amaze me, Liza. Gorgeous as always! Hope you are well.

Thank you, Barbara. It's getting colder here, too, but luckily there is no snow yet! No, I simply lay the rose on a sheet of white paper because I liked the white on white.

Olechko, thank you for your comment. I have a young lady here for a painting class at the moment, who also lives in Central London and she said exactly the same as you! That's why she decided to spend a week of her holidays here in very rural France.
