Hi Liza,

What an amazing portrait. I love your
use of colour, the blaze of light at one side, the glasses. Just delightful.

Happy New Year to you and your family and friends!

wow-Liza! Your portraits certainly do capture a sense of personality. There is also this sense of painterliness yet he could stand up and come to life from the painting's surface. Beautiful!!

Liza, this is really, really fantastic--a standout among your work. I love all the sculptural elements at play here--head, glasses, tie, etc.. Wonderful palette and composition as well.

I thank you all very, very much and am sorry for replying so late, but unfortunately I have been ill for nearly a week, drained of all energy. It is actually only thanks to my husband that anything was posted - I couldn't get near the computer! Thanks again, I am thrilled you like it so much!
