Hi Liza,

This is wonderful. The expression on his face, and bright water make me feel as if I'm in a boat. Super.

Comme d'habitude, dans tes portraits, l'expression est saisissante, semble "plus vraie que nature!".
Magnifique!

I think this guy is great. You have captured him in the moment. Well done.

Thanks to all of you! This is a commission for the man's 90th birthday and as he is a great sailor his grandchildren decided to have me paint him as such.
I have never met him but he seems to be a very vivid and likeable man!

Hi Liza! I like this portrait so much. Wonderful atmosphere and treatment of the different surfaces, the skin; slicker; binocs, etc. Many congrats!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say this is my Grandad and this portrait by Liza captures him so wonderfully, I love to see it whenever I visit my grandparents. He's quite sick at the moment, and it's really special to have such a delicate portrait of him hanging nearby showing him full of life and enjoying being on the water as he always has done. Thank you again Liza!
