We were running around London so much and travelling back to France, that I couldn't keep up with my painting. I am pleased to be back at the easel and actually very pleased with this portrait of my friend Karin! It's been a long time since I did portraits - this makes me feel like doing more of them again.

Let's Have a Drink at Oscar's!

Oscar's is a great place in London to have an aperitif around l'heure bleu. Very lively, cozy and maybe even romantic.

Japanese Anemone

At last it is sunny and warm enough again to paint outside and the flowers in the garden are lush. I enjoyed painting them but I am not sure about the name. A French friend once gave me some offshoots and I seem to remember her referring to them as anémones japonaises. Anyway, they're among my favourite flowers.
