Another one from last week's visit at the National Gallery. A sketch of Thomas Gainsborough's  Mr.and Mrs. Andrews.

It is a wonderful pen and wash painting. So clean. wonderful drawing as well Lisa. Thanks for letting me know that one isn`t allowed to paint with any medium other than watercolour at the National Gallery. all the best Lisa.

Hi Barbara, thank you, too! The original painting is lovely. I didn't know it before and it caught my eye immediately when I passed it. It's quite big, too, which makes it even better.
