These are all beautifully painted (particularly this one). It is a pity they are so tiny, but that can be explained by the online sale. Also I regret you do not write a story behind each painting. But as I said great paintings and it looks like I am not the only one to think that. Take care William in Périgueux www.periblog.fr
Merci beaucoup, William! It's nice to have a comment from somebody so close for a change. I started painting so small in order to get a routine and practice after a longer time without having painted - like sketches so to say. Meanwhile, I enjoy doing these "daily paintings" so much that I don't want to miss them anymore. Nevertheless I do produce (much) larger paintings, too, except in wintertime, when my studio is too cold. As soon as it gets warmer again, I will get back to it. I had a big lifesize portrait in a show in Verteillac (north of Riberac) in September. In regard to writing a little story accompanying the paintings - I wish I had the time!!!! I only just manage to reply to my comments! Well, thanks again for leaving a comment here, I'm pleased to like my work.

I like this one a lot! It's got some wonderfully subtle modeling.
Thanks for your kind comment, Craig!
