Just before the Rain

Driving towards our village yesterday afternoon I saw this wonderful combination of a very dark, nearly purple sky just before pourring down in buckets and the bright sunlight on the buildings. The village looked like a cut out - the colours were great.

I love sunlit buildings against a dark sky, this is wonderful, Liza! I can feel the air heavy with impending rain. Great colors!
