Okay that's it! These houses make me dream of moving to France. Another beauty. I love the curtain pulled aside in the window in the door -- the dormant tree on the sidewalk, the wrought iron gate and the bright patches of red on the roof. Magnifico.
Barbara, you are too kind! This is the one I ruined on Sunday and tried to save yesterday. I am actually not too happy with it - the house is great but the painting is not my favourite in the series. It seems almost like a naive style which is not at all my cup of tea. But I am pleased you like it nevertheless - my students liked it, too, so perhaps its just me...
