The Book Corner

For a change a sketch today. My daily didn't work out - I wiped it all off again - so I made a little sketch of a corner in our living room. As you can see it is not very tidy here...

Hi Liza,

This sketch is lovely and makes me
so happy as we have these corners everywhere in our tiny house. I felt so happy yesterday when a friend took two big bags of books I've read to give to a charity. Well you know what -- be proud of your book piles. Only 20% of Canadians read for pleasure, which is tragic. Houses like ours are keeping literacy alive.

Your children are lucky. Have a
great weekend.

Hi Barbara,
Thank you so much again for your kind comment!
Guess you're right - I recently heard that only 5% of the German population are interested in culture - amazing that artists manage to even sell anything!

Cheerio,
Liza
