Pierre de Ronsard - sketch

Today, just a little sketch of the same bouquet I painted yesterday. It has been at least 15 years since I did a watercolour painting and I will have to practice this a lot more but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I think it is a good exercise in staying loose so I am planning to do more in the coming days. After this one I painted three more but they didn't turn out well at all - this is the only one I dare to show you. I tried to see only colours, as few details as possible, yet enough to indicate flowers. "Letting it flow" was sooo much fun!
