Ow how sad that you closed thew gate, it's not a invitation to go further into your painting that way, and that while it's soo inviting to do, ... how sad.

René, it was very early morning and everybody was still asleep! But apart from that I quite liked the dominating abstract shape of the gate in contrast to the trees and bushes around it. I am planning to do more of this house and then I will think of your suggestion!

how interesting - you find your eyes are being drawn in by the gate while René thinks it blocks the invitation! Always amazing how different people perceive things....
