Country Road

Country Road by Liza Hirst

This road is on the way to Lusignac, a beautiful village, where several friends of mine live. One of them just gave me a call to invite us round for drinks and "nibbles", as he said - love that word - as he and his Javanese wife will be leaving for a longer stay in Java next week. So after having painted it today, I will now drive along this country road and verify if I actually captured it well!

Hi Liza,

I'm sure your trip for drinks and nibbles will assure you that you captured this view well, but you also made it your own, with your signature
lovely abstract eye, colour and light.
Perfect.

Hi! I was just stopping by as I found you by clicking on the "next blog" button at the top of many of these blogs. I've enjoyed looking at your paintings and their presentation on that very clever video!

And, thank you for the flickr badge idea...I added one to my blog after seeing yours!

Have a great day!

Thank you, Barbara! We had a lovely drive there while the sun was setting and spoilt us with fantastic colours in the sky! Magic! And then the evening with our friends - life can be so good sometimes!
