This one is very inspired - lyrical as well as having an underlying whimsicality. And now I’m convinced you have a very droll sense of humour. I got an inkling of that with the cow/bull response. Now I don’t feel concerned about your old bull because you have given him a red light district. You are too, too thoughtful beyond words. And such a damn good painter to boot!!!

Hi Marcia,

Hope you don't take it personal when I don't reply immediately - I am a lousy blogger because I don't really enjoy sitting in front of the computer. Nevertheless I very much appreciate your nice comments and thank you so much!!
Btw, I have a feeling the bull is too old for this didstrict...
Painting this interior series is fun and in order to have a bit more variety, I am thinking of asking friends if I could paint at their houses, too.

Lovely colours in this one Liza. I especially like the blue strip running along the bottom of the painting (wall in shadow?). Also like the composition relying as it does on a network of interconnected rectangles with a circle strategically placed there.

Hi Sheila, only just saw your comment here - sorry. Thank you!
The blue strip is actually a kitchen cupboard with a black marble top with all the things I painted on it.
