The white utilitarian light of this piece where you perform your daily ablutions provides contrast with the warm almost seductive light of the previous post where all good things to consume cast under the shade of a red lamp are the subjects of contemplation. I’m beginning to appreciate these distinctions in light.
merci bien

Marcia, I am always pleased to read your analytic comments - as I said before, you describe my paintings so well and I become aware of things I had only registered subconciously!
Thank you very much!

Hi Liza,

You should be in Florence at the Biennale. I keep meaning to call you but we're on the run all day, seeing sights and sitting the show. It is molto fun!

This is beautiful. I can't comment every day because I have very little internet time.

Ciao,

Liza I love your paintings!!
I didn’t realize that it meant I love your subconscious, or subconscious intentions - as well!
Thanks for pointing that out. But Liza, btw, I’m not a Freudian. Is that what you're thinking? No, I'm not. But, Freud certainly has an impact on our language.
