Another one of our tin collection, this time originally for tea, but nowadays used for samples of lotions, cremes and perfumes in my bathroom.

What a glorious painting. This looks like the kind of box we used to save treasures in as children -- stones and feathers and things that seemed to
come from ancient history. How incredibly fun!

very nice. The highlights and shadows are all so well placed that it looks very 3-D yet also very painterly, clearly not a photo. It's the best of both worlds when you can achieve that in a painting.

Thank you Barbara! You're right about the treasure box and actually we have quite a few of those around the house, full of stuff that you don't want to throw away but don't really know what to do with either....
