After indulging into all those bright colors over the last few days, I felt like calming down a bit again. I am playing with the idea of painting a few of these interiors on a larger scale for an exhibition I will be participating in during the summer. I imagine using a really big paint brush and splashing the paint onto the canvas!

Liza, I’ll say it again. You’re a painters’ painter!! The daylight gives this room a palatial feel to it although I must say, I love the electric light and combination of light you use for the other interiors as well! They're all beautiful!

These brushstrokes are perfect - not too much - not too little just the perfect amount put down to construct an object - great simplification of forms - nice values and i love the mood of the lighting.

The combination of electric light and daylight arouses my attention again and again. I like the contrast of the warm and cold and so on ...

This is just glorious. I love everything about it. The light blue against the burgundy grey -- such amazing use of colour and design. I love that you placed your signature in the top left corner so you
wouldn't interfere with the coffee table.

And I hope I can keep up that kind of brushwork for a little longer.
The next two paintings aren't in the same flow but hopefully a few more after that. You know how I keep travelling from realistic to painterly back and forth.
I read through this whole page of your blog from bottom to top, to get the proper chronology. So first I saw the lamplight living room scenes - and then \WOW/ the daylight one. May I borrow your palette for this one (smiley)?
