Three Old Peugeots
oil on canvas panel - Öl auf Malplatte - huile sur carton entoilé
15 cm x 15 cm / 5,9" x 5,9"
Sold - verkauft - vendu
On the outskirts of Verteillac, the village where I now live, they have created a big open space for a future parking lot and someone with a good eye has parked these three fantastic old Peugeot vans right in the middle. It looks like they were on stage, trying to attract as much attention as possible - and of course, beautiful as they are, they do!
I will probably attempt another painting of them.

I love this! The bright colors, great composition, it's all good! You didn't miss a beat by taking some time off! It's great seeing your posts again!
I like! Are we all watching the same blogs. Everybody seems to be painting trucks! Colin Page, Carole Marine......
Love everything about this Liza,
the humour, the colour, the light and the design. Gorgeous.

Hi Nancy,
Great to hear from you again. I am pleased you like the painting - thank you! Lovely work on your blog and you look gorgeous in Santa Fe!
Thank you, Noel. It's just coincidence - I do know and admire Carol Marine's work but I had never seen that of Colin Page. It is also beautiful - thank you for mentioning it to me!
Hi Barbara,
Thank you very much! I fiddled around with it quite a bit because for me the colours actually turned out too bright, but in the end I thought, I should perhaps dare it and leave it.
I am pleased you like it...
