The last few days I worked on commissions with a deadline, thus no daily paintings.
But now I'm back and continuing my London series with this young woman trying to decide what to have for dinner.

Hi Liza,

Wonderful in any light, but I know what you mean. Boy do I miss those long daylight hours. Great portrait.

A lovely work - the last post too - I admire the way you capture the essence of the pose.

Really nice! I love the bright yellow-green in the background and the red horizontal line of the table. Excellent job of just suggesting the face in shadow with a slight highlight on her cheek. I really like this!

Hi Barbara,
Thank you so much!
I really have to get used to the darkness after the clock has been turned back now. The day seems over so quickly.
xxx Liza

Thank you, Virginia!
The face, although hardly visible, was the difficult part in the painting, so I am very pleased you especially like that!
