I noticed this young lady in a café on the Strand, who had probably just come from work. She looked so lonely and I felt a bit sad for her, but luckily she had only been daydreaming while waiting for her fiancé, who arrived shortly after.

I really like the almost abstract setting with the more realistic figure. It does project a feeling of loneliness. Glad it had a happy ending!
