The Tourist

The Tourist by Liza Hirst

oil on canvas panel - Öl auf Malplatte - huile sur carton entoilé
15 cm x 15 cm / 5,9" x 5,9"
sold - verkauft - vendu

This painting looks much better in real and the colours are quite different, but as I am in the south of Spain at the moment, I haven't got my usual place and light to take a good photo of the finished painting. It seems difficult to find the ideal spot around here and so I am quite frustrated with the photos that I am posting here.
Hope, that tomorrow I am more successful!

It looks fantastic Liza,

Lucky you in the south of Spain.
Great light and mood. You should be proud of yourself for posting.

Dear Fourborne,
Thank you very much for considering me as a Stylish Blog Award Winner, but to be honest I am a hopeless case with awards like this and have never fulfilled the obligations connected to them. Please don't take this personal - it's just not the thing for me. Of course I appreciate your
kind intention and thank you!

Hi Barbara,
Yes, lucky me - I am well aware of that indeed! The light here is absolutely incredible and I hope to be able to capture it in some of my paintings. Posting is a bit difficult with the provisional internet access we have here but I am determined to do so! Thank you, my friend.
