I LOVE your wave paintings! Last year my husband and I renovated a beach house on the ocean. I've been a bit overwhelmed by the magnitude and vastness of it all, with no idea how to go about capturing it all. Your paintings have been such an inspiration.Thank YOU!

thanks Liza for the bright sunny painting . Just what I needed to see. It's been gray skies, rain and blowing gale force winds here for 3 days now. The wave paintings you've been producing are GOOD!

Not bored by your waves, but this is magnificent. So muted in color, yet the shadow of the fence reveals a warm light. Wonderful juxtaposition.

I really love that one. this painting gives the feeling of anticipation you get before you arrive on the beach to feel the soft sand between your toes O:-)

Dear Nancy,
Sounds like a wonderful project! That is my dream - living in a beach house by the sea...
Thank you for your nice comment!

Hi Brian,
I do feel very lucky to be able to spend this time here in the South of Spain, escaping the cold and grey of northern winters. And I am pleased to have brightened up just that for you!
Thank you.

Hi Stephen,
I like what you said about this painting. I also liked the muted colours and it looked like a fairly easy image to paint, but actually it was quite hard, due to the restricted palette.
For a long time the painting looked dull, grey and boring and I was quite frustrated. Only after analyzing the values precisely again and again, I finally got the grip of it and the sun began to shine!

Hi Ulrike,

That's precisely what made me paint this subject. You hit the nail on the head! Thank you!

This is a very evocative painting. Of course any path to the sea is a pleasant invitation but because of its simplicity it really leads you there in a lovely way.

Definitely NOT bored by your waves, as they were all so beautiful and different. But this one is such a wonderful invitation... I want to walk that path..

I'm not bored by your waves but I have to say I love this painting. I love any path that leads into a painting and I just want to take this one and enjoy the afternoon at the beach. Gorgeous!

On a envie de méditer, de respirer, de marcher sur la plage lorsque l'on
voit ce beau tableau.
Bravo Liza!

Bored by waves -- not by your waves. I have gone to whole shows of waves crashing on rocks, and thought "Ho Hum!" But each one of your wave paintings evokes the ocean, its majesty and intensity so beautifully, that I feel nothing but longing to be right there with you. Super work. But I say Yes! down to the beach. This is gorgeous.
