Liza,
I really, really like this composition. I do have a small problem with the color of the blue shadow on the road that to me becomes connected visually to the ocean and is somewhat confusing. Maybe it could be grayed a little with the addition of some warm color I do follow your blog and enjoy it very much.

I'd like to be walking along there as well.

Beautiful light in this painting. I like the soft orange/pink color. And yes, you are one lucky girl! I'll think of you as I'm walking through the snow banks with my dog :-)

you are an extraordinary plein air painter and I know it's because you are outside painting all the time but it's also because you are an extraordinary painter.

And that's the good news. You are grateful for what you have. And you share it! Thank you.

Very well observed, William! I agree and was aware of that and a bit frustrated with it myself. I struggled, because unfortunately I didn't have the right blue for the sea which was much more turquoise nor a purple or the right red for mixing the purply blue of the path. But actually the path is a bit more purple and subdued in the original.

Thank you for your honest comment! I appreciate that.
