There wasn't time for a visit inside the cathedral, but seen from the outside it was already very impressive. It was strange for me to connect the grand buildings in the center of Berlin with the Berlin I used to know when the wall was still standing. There were no comparative buildings in West Berlin, as it's actual center was in the East.

We were very lucky with the weather in Berlin - it was like summer and we enjoyed sitting outside a lot.
