St.Paul's IV

St.Paul's IV by Liza Hirst

Seen from a different angle this time. Just across from the cathedral there's a new shopping mall with a roof terrace offering fabulous views of the London skyline and close ups of St.Paul's. It was a challenge and fun studying the values here.

Love the color in the light and shadows, Liza. Your value study is ambitious and amazing.

J'aime beaucoup la lumière, on a envie de
s'assoir sur une marche et se réchauffer au soleil.

Bravo Liza

Thank you very much, Marilyn. I am pleased you like it.

Merci, Jacqueline. C'était exactement l'atmosphère ce jour là - très froid mais agréable au soleil.

I've walked past that shopping centre many times on my way to the Tate Modern and never gone in it. What a fantastic view of St.Pauls it provides! Love this series Liza and why not work in different ways - they are all fascinating in their own way and all are yours!

Hi Sheila, I appreciate your support in regard to painting in different styles and of course I can very well identify with you in this matter, as you are one of the few who experiments all the time - which I find very interesting! It's great that you say, they are all me, because I sometimes become insecure about it, asking myself "who am I?" (in painting), why don't I concentrate on one style?

Wonderful. So strong. I feel like I'm there looking at it. Wish I were.
