Detail of St.Paul's Cathedral

Detail of St.Paul's Cathedral by Liza Hirst

Another study of St.Paul's, painted at a plein air session with Maryam Foroozanfar. These are the two front steeples, seen from Paternoster Square. We had fun!

Hi Liza,

I love how with the whitish grey sky it looks like a wedding cake. Yet perfect architecturally. So wonderful.

Thanks so much, Barbara. You're right - it does look like a wedding cake. Hadn't seen that before.
