A concrete wall can be very beautiful. The strong contrast with the sun made all the colours of the old wall in our patio appear much more vibrant.

As promised yesterday, I did get round to painting this other nice spot around our house, as the sun was still shining bright and warm today.

One of our last lunches outside - the days are getting shorter and cooler (just a little bit). As the sun has already wandered to the other side of the house, we drink our after lunch coffee there - might paint that tomorrow...

Midday Sun

You might not realize from the picture but this is a HUGE parasol!
We were lucky enough to find it years ago at an auction and although at the time we didn't even have a place to set it up, we couldn't resist the ridiculously low price and bought it. Comes in handy now ...!
