We are enjoying some beautiful late summer days and I am pleased I can still do some painting outside. I started this one yesterday afternoon but the sunlight vanished so quickly that I had to continue and change it today. Glad I got it done!

I never thought I would paint rats - and enjoy it! At first I hesitated for a moment, when a young girl from Canada asked me if I would do a portrait of her rats, but then... it was a challenge. In the end I thought they were even quite sweet.
