It has been very windy and rainy the last ten days and looking at the sea one feels more like being on the Atlantic Ocean in autumn than on the Mediterranean in early spring. Although that offers interesting seascapes to paint, I am eagerly waiting for better weather!

Beautiful colours. The water looks like silver, everything is delicate, the mood is peaceful. Wonderful atmosphere at the end of a bright, sunny day!

This is the first part of a triptych I have been working on over the last few days.
Looks easy, but no, not for me. This was a difficult piece of work!

I am gradually getting fascinated with painting waves, so you can expect to see more of them here. These two "balls" looked at if they were racing eachother, hence the title.
