Well, I tried to do this one a bit looser than the first one but I am not sure I like it better. I wanted to ignore the details - the difficulty is to decide which detail is superfluous which essential? When is less more?

Hi Liza,

I like both of them very much. The big question is whether or not it works for you. I like the feeling of green outside the window.

Take care,

Barbara

Myra! That is incredible, wonderful! Such a nice surprise on a grey, foggy, chilly morning!! Thank you very, very much - I really enjoyed looking at the movie and feel honored that you chose to feature my paintings alongside those of Cezanne's - wow!

Hi Barbara, I'm pleased you like them - it was the green outside that made me paint them - I love that colour combination of the bluey grey walls and the light green - and then the pink of the sofa in the other corner. Actually that just now makes me think that I should perhaps try to do an abstract only featuring the colours, no objects. Thank you for your encouragement!
