Twilight in the city is one of my favourite times of the day. All the lights are on and sparkling and at the same time you still see the surroundings fairly well. A beautiful combination.

Oh, how this takes me back to my London days, going home from work! You've captured it perfectly and I love the extra redness of the bus.

And pleased to have found your blog now. Nice work!

I love this painting and the "Odd Light in Marylebone" as well! I once spent a summer in London, and Marylebone was my neighborhood. I miss all the activity and visual stimulation, which you have captured here.

Just amazing - love the soft focus and loose detail - so spontaneous and fresh ;)

Hi Jonelle,
Sorry for the late reply, but I am travelling at the moment and can't keep up with my correspondence as I should.
Thank you very much for your kind comment. I was thrilled to find your blog this way and very impressed by your work! Lovely light and clarity.
I will definitely be visiting again!

Hi Olha,
Sorry I haven't been in touch lately, yet I have been following your own work and loved the paintings you did of the shop we met at!
Thank you for your kind comment!

Hi Barbara, I also wish you could have been there with me!
Maybe some other time in our life...
London is great.
