Another one in the evening, just around the corner from where I will soon be living for a while. Love London!

I enjoy walking through the city in the evening. Whether in the very busy areas with thousands of lights and people or in quiet, peaceful residential streets like this one - both have their charm.

This is one of my favourite bars in Barcelona. It has a great atmosphere and the people working there are always very friendly. Unfortunately I forgot what it's called. You might notice the cigarettes the men are holding - well, that is history now. As one of the last countries in Europe to do so, from this year on Spain has now also prohibited smoking inside public places.

Tomorrow I am leaving for London again - if the flight isn't cancelled that is...
As last time, I am taking my crayons and paper and hope I will get down to drawing every now and then, but I can't promise anything. Otherwise I'll be back here in about two weeks.

On our property there are two buildings, the main house and a big barn, between them a flight of stairs leading to the terrace. In the evening that is where the last rays of sunlight shine through and create a wonderful, pastoral atmosphere, as you can see in this picture. The weather here at the moment is absolutely fantastic!

Evening in Paris

Craving for the big city buzz at the moment and a bit tired of rural calmness, I let myself be inspired by Rita Crane's wonderful photos of Paris. She is an extremly talented photographer and I am very pleased to have found her work through the internet. Do have a look!
